When space is silence…

Words, sounds, and space…

Moonlit chronicle

Snow outside my window
It’s Wednesday in November
No wind

Sleepless thoughts

I download the app
Adequate sleep? –it asks
I need negative numbers!
Sleeping time?
I hit zero
Would you rate us now or later?
I quit

Snowdust in the balcony
Moonlight dancing
Two clouds
No cars

A girl walking home
Is she?
No heels

Clouded moon
Dark serenity
Cold breeze
No stress

Peaceful thoughts?
Feeling cold?
A little
Would you sleep now or later?
Can’t tell

  1. I like this a lot! I love the juxtaposition of what’s going on outside and what the app is asking you.

  2. oy being unable to sleep, i feel you…no stress…wish mine was just no sleep…i like the detail in capturing what you see out the window…guess there is not an app for everything eh? smiles…

  3. lol omg I downloaded one of those sleeping apps you leave running and put the phone under your pillow… waste of time… love the descriptions of what’s going on outside

  4. A lovely moment-capture. I found the juxtaposition of the app and the outside world especially captivating.

  5. Oh… insomnia… not the right time to rate an app… and that simple observations of the snowdusted outside.. not yet any snow here but I suffer with you.

  6. not being able to sleep – that’s rough. The view from your window sounds interesting though! Rate the app, hardly! 🙂
