Words, sounds, and space…

How to fall in love

Start slow        beat   by   beat
                                    What’s the sound?
Listen carefully
roll along a pulse

Beat

If space shrinks:
                  Lock those eyes
                  hit a smile
Are you dancing?

Evoke mahogany bass      flow     loop      resonate
                                                                Edge the tone
                                         high   and   low
                                         wild while soft
                                                sweet
                                                  hot

    • Thank you for such an eloquent “welcome back” note! I’m glad to be back. Had to take a break because my career (geophysics) needed much of my time, and my artistic side focused on painting.
Young? Old? That’s in the mind, right? Glad you are well and blissful.

      • From A Science Perspective
Old And Young is An Inner
        Well Being of How We

        Now How
        Every Animal
        Likely Approaches
        Life Innately
        Instinctually
        Intuitively
        For Balance
        With Nature
        In Homeostasis
        As All of Life A
        Breath of Now
        Where
        Balance
        Makes Eternal
        Now With So much
        Less Eternal Illusory
        Fear We Humans
        Imagine Lost In
        Separation
        From
        Naked
        Nature
        Lost
        In
        Cultural
        Clothes
        That
        Create
        Inner Turmoil
        Of Past And Future
        Death that is the
        Illusion
        Of Fear…
        Living Now
        In Balance is
        Forever As Heaven
        Gets… In Short Dance
        And Sing Free indeed

        It’s Like Feeling
        Young it’s
        Not
        Something
        You know
        Just A
        Complete
        Feeling Now
        ‘A Smile’ Wagging
        Of A Happy

        Purring Too
        They Carry
        This
        Lesson
        No School
        Will Teach

  2. Hello Adriana, so glad to see you back, I have missed your words. Love the way you describe the slow falling in love, that dance to the heartbeats… I think it’s the slowness that makes it forever.

    • Thank you for such kind words, Björn. I did miss the thrill of reading and writing poetry. So, just like the tempo in the poem, I am slowly making my way back to continue my lifelong love affair with poetry. 🙂
